For many years Christian Science has been to me an unfailing source of comfort and help. I hope that this record of my experience may encourage some other needy ones to seek and find comfort and help from the same source.

In the fall of 1904, at the recommendation of a stranger—a customer of the company by which I was employed—I visited a Christian Science practitioner and was healed in one treatment of a severe cold. This visit was made without expectation or even thought of healing, but simply to show appreciation of a stranger's kind intent.

I have had occasional colds since then, but they and other physical ills, together with much wrong thinking, have been quickly overcome through Christian Science. It has been not only my healer, but my consolation in sorrow, my helper in business, and an ever-faithful guide for thought, word, and deed.
