When I found Christian Science I knew that I had found the "pearl of great price." It has unlocked priceless treasures for me, as it does for others who accept it. My early Christian teaching proved to be the foundation upon which to build. I knew that our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, was God-ordained to bring the Comforter to hungering and thirsting humanity, the Comforter which, Christ Jesus promised, "shall teach you all things."

Christian Science came to me in a very dark hour. We have had many healings in our home, such as those of influenza, ptomaine poisoning and a sprained ankle—healed instantaneously—and of many shortcomings. The belief in ptomaine poisoning was met by my firmly denying that I was sick. An operation was prevented by my knowing that the love of God is operating every minute—the only operation humanity needs.

I am grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and a branch church; for class instruction and for our Association meetings; for the Publishing House; for the Reading Rooms; and for the Board of Directors.
