Over twelve years have passed since I first heard of Christian Science. The blessings received during those years have been many. Without having performed any sudden or outstanding healings in my life, nevertheless, this Science has healed many ills, and for this I am exceedingly grateful. These healings were accomplished through my own study, and with the help of a relative and friends.

But that for which I am most grateful is the gaining of a totally different outlook on things material and spiritual. I did not care for things spiritual, because I did not know what they were, or at least did not think that they were anything to be attained here and now. Gradually, as I studied all of our Christian Science literature, new vistas opened, with the result that I am gaining that peace of mind which passes all understanding.

To mortal sense I experienced much loneliness, but now I see that as a blessing, because otherwise I should never have advanced so rapidly as I did. I am very grateful to be a member of The Mother Church; to have been able to visit the United States and to see some of the activities of The Mother Church, the Publishing Society, and the Sanatoriums at close range. All of them are certainly an inspiration.
