Jesus said, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever." On many occasions I have proved this Comforter to be Christian Science.

Many years ago I was instantaneously healed of acute indigestion, insomnia, and sick headaches. About eighteen years ago, while walking through a building under construction, I stumbled over a piece of lumber and fell, breaking a bone in my hand. The company doctor rushed me to his office, gave me an anesthetic, and set the bone, putting my hand in a splint. On arriving home I called a practitioner for help, as I was in a great deal of pain. She said to say as little as possible about the incident and to keep very still. Within an hour I was relieved, and in less than twenty-four hours took the splint off, and have had normal use of my hand since.

Another time I was struck by an automobile on a busy boulevard, dragged about eighty feet, and then thrown under another car. No bones were broken, but my face was badly cut by broken glass and I received a concussion. My head had two large bumps on top. This occurred about seven o'clock in the morning, and by seven o'clock that evening, through the consecrated work of a practitioner, the concussion was entirely healed. Three days later the clamps were taken out of my face (the doctor in the receiving hospital had put them there while I was unconscious); only a few slight scars remained, and they are disappearing.
