Rest

Highest spiritual rest is found wholly in the realm of divine Mind, and cannot be permanently achieved by any material methods. Rest is not gained by ceasing to be active, but by expressing action in line with God's requirements, working righteously, working joyfully. Rest does not necessarily result from some different occupation which from a personal point of view we may consider more desirable, but it should be experienced in performing the necessary work which is before us, whether that work be domestic or clerical, manual or executive. In fact, in any of the many callings by which men may actively reflect God, they may experience true rest.
