Gratitude prompts me to give the following testimony. For a long time I had been so tired and discouraged I could not be really glad. This condition grew worse, until quite unexpectedly one morning one side of my face was paralyzed and looked quite distorted. I had heard of Christian Science through my sister, and although my relatives raised objections I decided to send for a Christian Science practitioner, for I was convinced that a physician could not help me. I desired to acknowledge only a higher power. The practitioner took a loving interest in me, and explained to me man's at-one-ment with God and His ever present love. She worked for me in Christian Science, and in a very short time the difficulty had completely disappeared, and I could take up my work again, which previously had seemed to be impossible.

I am so very grateful to the dear practitioner, and will read diligently in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, so that I may learn to understand the teachings of our beloved Leader better and better. Now I know that God's love never ceases.
