Lecturer: Paul Stark Seeley; introduced by Mrs. Emily Ivers Meier, who said:—

All who study and practice Christian Science admit that the Discoverer and Founder of this great religious movement, Mary Baker Eddy, was inspired, and manifested great intelligence and wisdom. Her revelation caused her to establish this movement upon a firm foundation, which needs no changing, no adding to or taking from. As Mrs. Eddy was the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, it is apparent that there is no need of another Leader, and that there never can be. The Bible, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and our Church Manual by Mary Baker Eddy supply our need. The Church Manual is very precious to all true Christian Scientists, as it contains rules for all our church activities.
