I am very grateful for the privilege and opportunity of bearing witness to God's protecting power, and to the great fact that Mind is the source of all activity. My little year-old baby swallowed an open safety pin. I called a Christian Science practitioner at once, and we both declared the truth. Baby was very happy and comfortable; and as we did not have the pin by the end of the day following, we concluded that she had not swallowed it. The next afternoon an X-ray photograph was taken, which showed the open pin in the upper part of the stomach. The surgeon who took the photograph advised an incision at once, as he did not believe that the opening which led from the stomach was large enough for the pin to pass through. We then waited for Truth to do its perfect work, and just three hours later the pin came away without any disturbance.

I also wish to mention the beautiful demonstration that was made when baby came. The doctors in attendance called it wonderful. The experience was practically painless. I have had many healings, one of which enabled me to lay aside glasses. I am very thankful for the privilege of membership in The Mother Church and also in a branch church, and grateful to God for Christian Science and the care of a loving practitioner.—(Mrs.) Meta C.
