Letters from the Field

"I want to express my gratitude for the benefit I recently received during a visit to The Christian Science Benevolent Association sanatorium. When I went there to stay, I was suffering from loss of memory and constant headaches. In nine days, and with one treatment from a practitioner, these conditions were entirely lifted.

"My idea in going to the sanatorium had been to get relief from a sense of strain, and I found that I had instinctively relied on the work of others for the harmony I desired. I am thankful to say that I found out immediately that only as I took my part in doing faithful work for the sanatorium, in giving instead of only receiving, could I attain the sense of peace which I knew was my right, and which I had experienced during a very brief visit some years ago. My recent stay has given me a far better sense of the work that is being done there. I feel also that the effects of my experience there were far-reaching; for after I had left, other erroneous conditions in my thought became clear to me, and I have been able to some extent to remove those false causes of discord.

"(Miss) Helen M. Rolleston, London, England."
