With deep gratitude I give this testimony. The clothing of one of my daughters caught on fire. Thanks to divine Love and the understanding of Christian Science, no sense of fear was manifested, and she was able to call her sister, who was near. The latter, seeing her in flames, immediately declared the truth, and said, "God's children cannot be burned;" and the story of the three Hebrew boys who were cast into the fiery furnace came to her thought. Although to mortal sense the flames looked very alarming, she quickly freed her sister from the burning clothing, every article of which was entirely burned out at the back. Not a trace of a burn could be seen on either of my daughters.

We have had many beautiful healings in our family: epileptic fits have been destroyed, deafness has disappeared, love of intoxicants has gone, and the peace of God reigns where once bad temper and discord seemed to have possession.

I should also add the following experience. Some years ago I fell, tearing the ligaments of my left ankle. As a great sense of fear was felt by some of the family, a doctor was sent for, and I was ordered to bed for six weeks; but I knew the truth, and stuck to it faithfully; and on the fourth day from the date of the accident I was able to run about and do my usual work. I have had no trouble with that ankle since.

From early childhood I desired to find the God of love
