From early childhood I desired to find the God of love

From early childhood I desired to find the God of love. Not believing in the religion that all my people professed, or any other, I had no religion until I began the study of Christian Science. Therein I found the God of love that I had been seeking. To me the revelation was wonderful, and I knew I was reading the truth about God when I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

Before we knew anything of Christian Science my husband and I thought many times we would try to attend some church, but we never had time. But when we began the study of Christian Science we found plenty of time to go to church, for we knew that at the Christian Science church we should find what we needed. I am so thankful we found Christian Science at the time our two little girls were at the age when they should attend Sunday school, as my one fear had been that they would grow up without a religion, as I had done.

Although we did not begin the study of Christian Science for physical healing, we have had many physical ills healed. Scarlet fever was healed in twelve hours. Measles, burns, croup, headaches, and many other discordant conditions have been overcome. Christian Science has been our only physician for the past twelve years. It has met our every need. For this, words cannot express my gratitude to God, to Jesus the Christ, and to Mrs. Eddy.
