Those who have experienced the spiritual healing of Christian Science know that its teaching is both sane, reasonable, and logical, and that it has meant to them deliverance from danger. Most of the cases that come to Christian Science for healing have already tried, without success, everything that medical science can offer, and many cases which have been thoroughly healed in Christian Science had been pronounced hopelessly incurable by reputable doctors.

Deriving its sanction from the Bible, Christian Science teaches that God is divine Mind, the only creator, Spirit, Life, Truth, Love; that God is infinite good, "of purer eyes than to behold evil," that man, made "in the image of God," reflects God; that evil, the supposititious opposite of good, is unreal.

Christian Science heals thoroughly by dealing entirely with mental conditions, and by eliminating false beliefs through the spiritual understanding of God as the only Mind. As Mrs. Eddy has written in the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (Pref., p. xi), "The physical healing of Christian Science results now, as in Jesus' time, from the operation of divine Principle, before which sin and disease lose their reality in human consciousness and disappear as naturally and as necessarily as darkness gives place to light and sin to reformation."
