I am grateful for Christian Science, which has met our every need for the last ten years. Sickness, sorrow, accident, and loss have been overcome through our understanding of Truth. Although I did not come into Christian Science for physical healing, I was healed of chronic indigestion while reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. All sense of fear left me when I learned that God is the only power.

One day, while carrying a kettle full of hot water, I slipped and fell, spilling the water on my right side. Instantly the thought came, It never touched Life,—and I was neither burned nor hurt. During the slow healing of severe cold, sore throat, and loss of voice, there was ever a sure sense that Christian Science is indeed the only healer.

I am grateful for The Mother Church with all its various activities, grateful for Mrs. Eddy, whose spiritual idea of Church was so constructive that no material law or any phase of error could deprive mankind of the blessings intended for them. I am grateful for the opportunity to write this testimony, and hope my experiences may help and encourage others, because every problem in which error is met and conquered is a step onward and brings us nearer the kingdom of heaven.
