It is with joy and gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy that I send a few words of thankfulness for the many physical healings we have experienced since I became a sincere student of the Bible and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The daily study of the Lesson-Sermons and the thorough perusal of all of Mrs. Eddy's writings were the means of healing sorrow. By the help of a loving practitioner I was instantly healed of chronic liver trouble from which I had suffered since childhood. The children have been healed of a broken bone, scarlet fever, pneumonia, rash, and colds. Through the patient work of loving practitioners, the realization of the ever-presence of the Christ, Truth, and by relying wholly on our only Physician, God, these ills were very quickly destroyed.

We were able to prove that if we "drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt" us. A short time ago one of the little boys accidentally swallowed some Paris green while spraying potatoes, and for some moments was in very great pain; but by the declaration of the truth and the understanding that the "still small voice" has revealed to me, he was soon free from all the ill effects and fell asleep, afterwards calling for his supper.

I therefore rejoice unceasingly that it is my privilege to prove that nothing can shut out from me the direct inspiration of divine Mind; and I can see that God's promises are fulfilled. Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
