I too wish to express my gratitude for all the blessings which I have received through Christian Science, especially that I was freed from fear. I had always greatly dreaded internal maladies. About eight years ago I contracted lung trouble. Although it was apparently a light case, and the doctor who attended me repeatedly assured me that there was no danger to my life, I was very fearful; because a few years before, my eldest sister had passed on with tuberculosis of the lungs, and a brother was even then in a sanitarium suffering from the same ailment. The fear that I also would have to waste away nearly consumed me.

Then Christian Science came into my life; and through a thorough study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and loving treatments by a Christian Science practitioner, I learned to see that God is our only Physician, as well as our ever present help in trouble. And so, with the help of God, I have overcome the illness and, above all, the fear of it. I have been healed of nervousness, as well as of frostbitten hands and feet, from which I had suffered from my earliest childhood,—about thirty years. I have also been healed of many other ailments. I am very thankful for having gained, through Christian Science, a faith in God, as well as a better understanding of Him.
