I desire to express my sincere gratitude for the many blessings I have received since I took up the study of Christian Science about twelve years ago. Last winter I was stricken with lung fever and pneumonia, and was very ill. I had my son-in-law call a Christian Science practitioner. This was on a Wednesday, and by Friday I was able to go to my daughter's in a taxicab, a distance of five miles. It was said it might kill me to make the trip. I am here yet, and doing as much as any woman. I have demonstrated Christian Science, and know it is the religion Christ Jesus taught and practiced. A better understanding of this truth is gradually being unfolded to me; and, as the Psalmist said, "I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness." While deeply grateful for these healings, I am more grateful still for the spiritual understanding I have gained through the study of Christian Science.
