Christian Scientist who are experienced newspaper proof readers or linotype operators are invited to send their names and addresses, also full particulars as to training, experience, and present employment, to the Business Manager of The Christian Science Publishing Society, Falmouth and St. Paul Streets, Boston.

In common with the rise costs of manufacture in other industries, the cost of materials and labor in the manufacture of books, as well as of their packing and shipping has increased so greatly since 1916 that some of Mrs. Eddy's Works for a long time have been selling at a loss. No increase in prices has been made, it being expected that the gradual lowering of manufacturing and shipping costs, generally hoped for, would, obviate the necessity of advancing the prices of certain books.

Now, however, as there is no immediate prospect of any decrease in the costs of manufacturing or of shipping, the following increased prices have been adopted:
