When I was about fourteen years of age I was attacked with a fever, and to all appearance it was in a very malignant form. Before this we had known practically nothing of Christian Science, although I had had treatments several times for colds and catarrh. My parents were very much frightened about me, but as I wanted Christian Science treatment they decided to let me try it. A practitioner was sent for, who came immediately and stayed two nights and two days. During the morning of the third day the fever left me and I was entirely healed. I got up, was dressed, and ate dinner with the family.
