Charlie Dawson called yesterday afternoon at the Sporting Life office, looking fresher and brighter than we have ever seen him looking before. Having fully recovered his eyesight, he is ready to take again his place in the billiard world. Chatting over his illness, Dawson surprised us by asserting most emphatically that his eyesight has been completely restored through Christian Science. Not only so, but Dawson is so grateful that he desired us to publish the story of how he recovered his normal eyesight. We offer no comment on the statement, which the great billiard player accompanied by reference to several instances of cures having been effected of those within his own circle of friends.
