With a grateful heart I give this testimony. A year ago I had a malady which completely robbed me of my strength, and I lost greatly in weight within a short time. I then asked a Christian Science practitioner in Frankfort a|Main for help, and was thus enabled to make the long trip from Magdeburg to that city. As I did not know the nature of the disease, I decided to have an X-ray examination. The physician stated that I had a very severe abdominal disorder, the heart and other organs being also affected. After the examination I remained for some time in Frankfort under Christian Science treatment, and by and by I realized, to my great joy, that the truth had made me free, for all my diseases had vanished like mist before the sun.

I cannot express in words the gratitude which I feel that God has again revealed to us, through our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, this glorious truth, as Christ Jesus taught it. I am also thankful for having had Christian Science explained to me so clearly that I have since been enabled, through the knowledge thus obtained, to help myself occasionally when some disorder would present itself. It will be my endeavor to live according to the teachings of Christian Science, and to apply them in my life. May God give me enlightenment!
