When I was groping in the darkness occasioned by a false theology, prejudice, and self-righteousness, a dear sister came to me with the "good tidings of great joy," as they had been revealed to her in Christian Science. Through her patient, loving efforts and forbearance the walls of bigotry and self-sufficiency were penetrated and at length dissolved by the rays of infinite Truth, and my consciousness was flooded with the effulgence of divine Love. I was instantaneously healed of a severe form of intestinal disorder, for which I had been under the care of a physician for several months, and also of a number of minor complaints of long standing. At the same time I was freed from a sense of hatred which had held me in bondage for over two years. These were but the beginning of the many blessings and great good that have come to me in Christian Science.

This was five years ago, and I can truly and humbly say that these have been years of peace and health and happiness. Many "crooked places" have been made straight, and "the rough places plain." I am most grateful to God for His wonderful revelations to our Leader. Mrs. Eddy, and for all the avenues through which this great good has come to me and to all mankind.
