My heart is full of praise and thanksgiving for God's infinite goodness and for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I suffered from rheumatic pains, which made me quite ill not only physically but mentally. Neither magnetic nor electric treatment, nor massage, under the care of different physicians during four years, could cure me, but through the sudden healing of a person with whom I was well acquainted I became interested in Christian Science. I called upon the practitioner, and after the second treatment I felt much better physically and also in a light and cheerful mood, so that I again took pleasure in life. In three weeks' time I was healed, and my fervent desire is to tell all sufferers that there is a living power which helps all those who earnestly want to be helped.

As I am desirous of testifying to the healing power of Truth, I send this testimony. Since taking up the study of Christian Science, now over three years ago, I have been benefited in many ways, both mentally and physically. I have proved the power of Truth to heal in the case of a badly sprained thumb. I was able to use the hand at once, the pain being overcome as soon as the injury occurred. Christian Science has also destroyed other minor discords for me. I am much brighter and happier than I used to be, and I am indeed thankful for this,—thankful to God for all His goodness, and to Mrs. Eddy for the truth which has been revealed through her.
