In 1905 I was a mental and physical wreck, having undergone an operation so serious that it left me without any use of my left arm and hand. The various treatments known to the medical profession were resorted to, such as medicine, electricity, massage, etc., but all to no avail. Through the earnest solicitation of a dear friend who was a student of Christian Science, I was persuaded, after being helpless four months, to turn to this healing truth and see what it could do for me. I took treatment, and although the healing was slow, yet my condition improved and I was also healed of a number of other diseases, among which were a catarrhal condition that had annoyed me for years. For the past year I have taken care of my own house, and have been able to use once helpless arm and hand nearly as well as the other.

It is needless to say how thankful I am to God for the blessings received, as well as to our dear Mrs. Eddy, through whom we are enlightened, and have spiritual things made clear and plain to us. I only hope that this testimony may be of encouragement to some one similarly afflicted, as I am so often asked by those who saw me when helpless, what cured my arm, and also if Christian Science can cure all diseases.
