When a girl of sixteen years I was supposed to be injured through overwork, and this brought on a complication of diseases, among them a serious heart difficulty, which lasted for years and resulted in bloating on my left side and great distress.
Many times I have felt a great desire to make public acknowledgment, through our periodicals, of the great good and benefit that Christian Science has been and is to me and mine.
With a heart always full of gratitude for what Christian Science has accomplished for me and mine, today I must give expression to it, for my thankfulness is without measure.
I feel that words are inadequate to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, for it found me, less than a year ago, discouraged, disheartened, and to mortal sense a physical wreck.
In addition to other blessings which I have received through Christian Science, I would like to tell of the following experience, which occurred in the summer of 1907.
