With a heart always full of gratitude for what Christian Science...

With a heart always full of gratitude for what Christian Science has accomplished for me and mine, today I must give expression to it, for my thankfulness is without measure. Because of an experience which came to me quite recently, this demonstration which I offer was brought back very vividly to my thought. During the evening I chanced to be with a young man who was suffering from an offensive catarrhal trouble. I myself had endured this disease for more than twenty years, in its most aggravated form, although I was treated constantly during that time by the best specialist obtainable, but unsuccessfully. The physical suffering at times was intense, but it never compared with the mental anguish of knowing that I was rather to be shunned than sought after. This is only one of the many diseases of both mind and body from which Christian Science has freed me absolutely, and for this healing I today give heartfelt thanks.

When it comes to expressing my gratitude for the changed view-point which the study and demonstration of Christian Science have brought me respecting life and experience, words fail me, as they do when in deepest humility I desire to add my gratitude to that of the many thousands who are expressing their thanks to Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful revelation.
