In addition to other blessings which I have received...
In addition to other blessings which I have received through Christian Science, I would like to tell of the following experience, which occurred in the summer of 1907. While standing on the ladder in the drying-loft, the ladder slipped and I fell with it through an open door. I lay for a few minutes on the floor, as there was no one in the house to come to my rescue; but I called upon God, who is omnipresent, for help; I then was able to get up. My daughter was absent at the time, and when my son-in-law came home at one o'clock he was frightened at my appearance and asked what had happened. When I told him, he wrote to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for absent treatment, as the injuries were seemingly very severe. I suffered much pain and could only move about with a cane, but the practitioner gave me a present treatment on the next day, and the pain soon lessened. With a few more treatments I was restored within two weeks.
I cannot thank God enough for this healing. I also thank God that He has enabled our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to lead us into the way of truth.
Frau A. Boehme, Berlin, S. W., Germany.
