I give this testimony with deep gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and my family. For eight years I suffered from a terrible disease, which made me so weak that I was unable to do any kind of work. I was obliged to submit to an operation by which twenty-four teeth were removed; but instead of improving I grew worse, and the physicians said that an operation involving the brain was necessary. While in this desperate condition I heard of Christian Science, and after I had attended the services a few times I asked for help. After the second treatment I began to feel the power of Truth, and during two weeks' treatment I regained perfect health, for which I am infinitely thankful to God.

When my boy was four years old, he had a cough, with serious complications. As a result one eye became badly distorted, and the sight of both eyes was so much affected that he could see only by using very strong glasses. The weakness and the pain in the eyes increased every year, so that when he was about thirteen the physicians urged us to have an operation performed, but we could not consent to that. After I had been healed in Christian Science, however, I asked for help for my child, and with a few treatments the distorted eye regained its normal appearance completely, and the sight of both eyes was restored. This same boy was brought home unconscious by a physician a few weeks ago. He had met with a very severe accident on the bicycling-ground. I immediately treated him in Christian Science, and then asked a practitioner to help me. She did so, with the result that the boy could go to school four days later, completely healed. My little girl too was freed, through Christian Science, in a very short time of a distressing ailment of years' standing, and is now a strong and healthy child.

For all these blessings, and for the help that has come to me and mine through Christian Science, I thank God, and our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, with all my heart.
