LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Chicago, Ill., Feb 10, 1909.

Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, Brookline, Mass.

Beloved Leader and Dear Friend:—I take considerable pleasure in sending you, for perusal on the one hundredth anniversary of the natal day of the great Lincoln, the 12th inst., "The Perfect Tribute," a little book which you can read in twenty minutes, perhaps at the very hour when The Mother Church, and many branch Churches of Christ, Scientist; are observing Lincoln Day services, and which is sure to afford you much gratification. At First Church, here, your good friend, Judge Ewing, is to deliver a brief address. As a youth he enjoyed the enviable distinction of a personal acquaintance with Mr. Lincoln, and his address on this occasion therefore promises to be of unusual interest.
