I send a few words to express my gratitude to God, and also to Mrs. Eddy for her interpretation of the Bible, by which we learn that God is always with us and a very present help at all times if we only trust Him. I was brought into Science through physical healing, about four years and a half ago. I had a paralytic attack, which affected my left side. Under medical treatment I was able to go to work, but I was very nervous, and had no feeling in my right hand, besides being affected in my head and other parts of the body. I had sleepless nights, and was continually taking drugs. At last these lost their seeming effect, and the doctor said it was his last resort.

I then tried Christian Science, just as a person might make an experiment in business. After the first treatment I slept better, but I still had my doubts, until at the same time I mentioned to the practitioner that I had a rupture. She then told me that God sees man as perfect, and said she would treat me for this trouble. This was during the heaviest season in business, and in two days the rupture ceased to trouble me and has never bothered me since. I then got interested, bought a copy of Science and Health, and commenced to read it and to attend church. After six weeks' treatment I regained the sense of feeling in my left hand, could run, and was as well as ever. About three months ago I had a second attack of the same old trouble. I could not speak plainly, and was taken home in a hack and put in bed. The same practitioner was called by "phone," and in twenty-four hours I was back in the store, waiting on trade, as though there had been nothing wrong. The treatment was absent.

This is only a part of the many good things that have come to me through knowing even a little of the truth. My prayer is that I may grow in grace, and live a nobler, purer, and better life. We cannot give enough thanks to God and to the dear ones through whom God works.
