Four years ago, when I was a wreck mentally and physically, I became interested in Christian Science through the influence of a dear sister. Before coming to Christian Science I wanted to end my life, and thought I was visiting my people for the last time. After the first treatment I began to see things in a different light, and I wanted to live. I did not tell the Christian Science practitioner what I thought ailed me, but the awful fear of the disease left me after my first treatment. I have taken no medicine since that time. I have been healed of various ailments at different times, and many troubles have left me without treatment from any one. Last fall, while still in Chicago, I was healed in a month of a catarrhal trouble which I had had for nearly two years, and which made breathing very difficult.

I have been benefited by Christian Science in ways too numerous to mention. It has indeed brought happiness to me, and for all this I am most grateful. It is needless to say that I love Mrs. Eddy most reverently; indeed I could not do otherwise.—M. H. Allen, Los Angeles, Cal.
