It is nearly six years since I began to apply Christian Science. During this time I have never appealed to Christian Science for help of any kind without receiving benefit. A case of chronic throat trouble was treated and overcome about three years ago, also an attack of stomach trouble, lasting over a week. A serious cold, with threatened lung trouble, was successfully met with Christian Science treatment, although I went about my usual work and was repeatedly exposed to the weather. Colds of any sort are rare with me now, whereas they used to be of frequent occurrence.

It has been my experience that much of benefit and blessing is to be derived from daily study of the Bible and Science and Health. God appears in a truer light,—as ever-present and all-powerful. The help and encouragement extended to me by Christian Scientists are greatly appreciated. In several instances it has been clearly and lovingly shown me how to help myself; that is, how to appeal directly to divine Mind for help. For this better understanding of God I am most thankful. The beautiful example of Mrs. Eddy's life and consecration to God's work is an open book to all.
