It is with very deep gratitude that I acknowledge the joy which Christian Science has brought to me. About two years ago I was suddenly taken with severe pain one Sunday morning, and continued in this condition until evening, growing gradually worse, until I felt I could endure it no longer. I then asked for Christian Science help, and was entirely healed in four treatments, so that I returned to the office the following Wednesday. This was an attack of appendicitis, and I was glad to escape the operation usually resorted to in such cases.
I am very grateful to God for my healing, also to Mrs. Eddy, who was able and willing to make known to us the power of Christ, Truth, in time of trouble. I have had many proofs of Truth's wonderful power and have found that it is all sufficient and never failing. I am a business woman, and in my work Christian Science helps me to see clearly through what seem to be dark places,—to know that each one of God's children has a place in divine Love, and that there is no power in error to take it from use. I am so very grateful for everything that Christian Science has brought me.—Helen E. Coker, Omaha, Neb.
