AN IMPORTANT WORK

Some of the good work that is being done by the committee on publication is in the line of correcting misstatements of fact which have gone out over the wires as news, and on this basis have found space in the newspapers of the country. As an example of this work by the committee, we quote from the Sacramento (Cal.) Star as follows:—

Editor Star:—I desire to correct the report which was sent to the papers from Santa Cruz last Sunday, stating that Thomas Wolfing died while speaking in a Christian Science meeting in that city. I have word from Santa Cruz to the effect that the gentleman in question was not a Christian Scientist, and that the meeting at which he was speaking was one of another religious faith.
