I feel that I have been slow in telling what Christian Science...
I feel that I have been slow in telling what Christian Science has done for me. It would be impossible to tell all, but I can safely say that Christian Science comforts in sorrow and trials and lifts us above them. A few years ago, while I was staying with my daughter in London, Ont., her little son, then seven years old, was taken suddenly ill, and suffered greatly till we sent for a Christian Science practitioner, who lived a mile away. She came immediately, and as soon as she treated him he got relief, and was well that night. I will also tell of the child's mother, who was expecting to be confined about that time. She became ill, and we sent for a Scientist, and also for a doctor. The doctor stayed a while and left some medicine, but she never took it. There seemed to be serious complications, and the trouble was found to be with the kidneys. On Sunday her right side became powerless; but the practitioner worked faithfully, and by Tuesday she was better and the following day got out of bed. Two weeks after this the child was born without pain.
Mrs. Mayhew, Renfrew, Ont.
