I am thankful that when Christian Science was presented to me I was ready to receive it, and that I did not stop to resist that which I did not understand, but tried to apply each truth as I saw it, proving by small diffiulties overcome at once that the greater problems could be solved. In January, 1906, I began to read the Christian Science literature, and since that time have had many proofs of the power of its Principle over all kinds of discord. It has met every need when faithfully applied.

Among the physical ailments overcome in myself were a bowel disorder and smallpox. In the latter case help from a practitioner was called for, and though the early symptoms appeared, each was overcome and the disease destroyed in two days. At the birth of our baby all dread and fear was overcome, and my recovery was very rapid under Christian Science treatment. The truth has been the baby's only medicine, and it has done wonderful things, both as a protection and cure for her.

I cannot express the value to me, in a spiritual way, of Christian Science, but I am trying to testify to this in my life.—Mrs. Grace Alexander, Redfield, S. D,
