I feel it a duty as well as a pleasure to testify to the wonderful power of Christian Science. It is several years since I first had treatment, and I feel very grateful for what understanding of the truth I have gained, as it helps us out of a good many trials. I will give one of these experiences. My son was working in the hay-field, and stuck the tine of the fork into his foot. He did not pay much attention to it, but came home and went in bathing as usual. In the night, however, he came to my room with great pain in the foot. My first thought was, What shall we do? I could not reach a practitioner in the night, so I went to work in earnest, with the help of Science and Health, and in a short time he was sleeping. I had so much fear that I felt the need of a practitioner's help in the morning, as the foot was very painful, but he got up about noon and was back at his work the next day. He had no further trouble with his foot.

This, with many other demonstrations of a similar nature, makes me very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the gift of Science and Health to suffering humanity. I also enjoy the Sentinel and Journal very much.
