There is every reason to believe that divine power healed organic as well as functional disease in Jesus' time. and the "great Physician" declared, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Christian Scientists are but attempting, and with a gratifying degree of success, as is undeniably attested on every hand, to heal the sick as Jesus healed them, and for the same purpose and by the same means. The Scriptures declare, "He sent his word and healed them;" "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." There is nothing of the "occult" about Truth, or Truth's operation, either now or in the past.
