How thankful we should be that through the understanding...

How thankful we should be that through the understanding of Christian Science we have "an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast," when the clouds of material sense gather round our path, shutting out the light of God's presence for a time. It is then that we should rejoice, for we know that when the clouds have rolled away the light will again shine out, its splendor undimmed by this seeming obscurity. Seven years ago Christian Science came to me, as "one born out of due time," and since then my progress though slow has been continuous. I have been healed of many physical ills, but the greatest blessing, to my sense, and for which I would give God thanks, has been the overcoming of discontent, restlessness, an envious and jealous disposition.—all of which are being eliminated from my consciousness.

I send this testimony with the hope that it may cheer and encourage some fellow-traveler, and to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way.
