After having been invited a few times, I finally attended a Christian Science service, and at once bought a copy of the Christian Science text-book, which I began to read in conjunction with the Bible. At that time my left arm had been helpless for about a year, my wife and children being obliged to help me dress, as I was unable to do anything with this arm; but before I had finished reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" my arm was healed. I was also healed of some other ailments, such as bowel trouble, etc. About nine months after that time, on Thanksgiving evening, I read in The Christian Science Journal of a man who had laid away his glasses. It was then I realized that what God had done for one He could do for another, and that I, too, could read without glasses; consequently I went to work as best I could, and before I retired that night the "still small voice" assured me that I would obtain complete healing. On Sunday morning at five o'clock I arose, opened Science and Health at page 578, and there found the 23rd Psalm. I realized that God, divine Love, had fulfilled His promise. If it had been in the daytime I should have shouted aloud with joy. I laid away my glasses and have never used them since.
Praise be to God at all times, for His goodness stands forever, and thanks to Mrs. Eddy for her tireless work for suffering humanity.—S. Biederman, Evansville, Ind.
