I was drawn into Christian Science through divine Love,...
I was drawn into Christian Science through divine Love, without any thought of my infirmities, which were many. I was lame from severe injuries to my leg ten years before, and when I was freed from using crutches and cane I felt happy indeed. Since then I have been looking for and receiving more light and knowledge, and I realize that I am gaining in each and hope to continue. I also want to acknowledge my gratitude for the healing of my wife in three or four days of a serious eruptive disease. There were twelve or thirteen similar cases in the neighborhood, and one of these sufferers passed away, while the rest of the cases took from six weeks to three months to recover, all of them being treated by materia medica. I am ready to show my gratitude for our healing whenever I can, and if any one wishes to write me on this subject I will gladly answer. Nearly every one in this vicinity is familiar with the facts as given in this testimony, as I have been a resident here for twenty-six years and was a cripple for ten years. My wife joins me in giving all praise to God and to Mrs. Eddy for this truth.
