I have much pleasure in giving my experience of Christian Science, of which I have known for three years. I first saw it mentioned in a London paper, where a man stated that he had been healed through its agancy. I wrote to the editor, asking about it, and my inquiry appeared in the next issue, with my address, which brought me a reply from a Scientist in Durham, directing me to the Christian Science Rooms in Edinburgh. I live about twenty-five miles north of Edinburgh, but I went in to a Wednesday meeting, for the first time. It impressed me so much that I asked for treatment right away. I had been a sufferer from defective eyesight (having worn glasses for three years), and also from neurasthenia of seven years' standing. I am glad to say that I was able to do without eyeglasses after a month's treatment, and although my other trouble was much longer in departing, it was at length overcome through Christian Science treatment and study. I used to have a nervous sense of fear that was always with me, which was most depressing, and life seemed scarcely worth living, but I am now relieved of this nightmare and rejoice in a sense of freedom which I never had before.

For all these blessings I am very grateful to God, and also to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way to Truth.
