Before I knew anything of Christian Science Mind-healing I used to be afraid of God, but now I love Him. I suffered for years from an internal trouble which caused me much inconvenience and gave me a great deal of pain. I attended two of the best hospitals in London, and had several doctors, but received no benefit from them, so I gave up. thinking I should never be healed, but through this wonderful truth, and the knowledge gained by the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I am to-day perfectly well, and I am truly grateful to Mrs. Eddy for teaching me to know God's truth. I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude to God for all the blessings I have received.

One Saturday evening I cut my hand very badly with a rusty tin, and my husband told me it would cause blood-poisoning, but I told him that God would care for me, for He is Love; then I took Science and Health and worked for myself, after washing my hand, and in five minutes all pain had gone. The next morning I went to church and not a drop of blood stained my glove. On another occasion some very hot water was upset over my hand and arm; I treated myself at once, and the pain left in a few moments. This may seem strange to those who do not know of Christian Science, but all Christian Scientists know that it is done by holding to the true thought of God as Truth, Life, and Love. Sometimes I have been obliged to call for help from a Scientist, but I thank God that the help has always been effectual, and the discordant conditions have been met and mastered without resort to drugs or any material remedy.

Christian Science is a wonder to me; it helps me in all my troubles, and in my every-day life; it has made me a good woman. I am very thankful for the knowledge I have gained, and will strive to live it always.
