Five years ago my view of life was very distorted, yet I longed to be healthy and happy, and I prayed that I might be changed. I went to physicians and surgeons, tried medicine and climate, hoping thus to bring about a physical change. I went to church, read the Bible, and consulted ministers, trying to find spiritual sight; but alas, there seemed no diminution of aches or pains, or dissatisfied mental conditions.

One never-to-be-forgotten day I met lady who plced in my hands that wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Since then the truth has been working a change from day to day, the light comes to me more clearly all the time. Disease has given place to health, doubt has disappeared and been replaced by conviction and understanding, and how great is the joy of knowing God aright, of knowing that man is His reflection! That I may daily reflect more of Truth and Love, is my prayer.—Lizzie Halyard, Joplin, Mo.
