With a grateful heart I will try to express my gratitude...
With a grateful heart I will try to express my gratitude for the innumerable blessings which Christian Science has brought, and is still bringing to me. About five years ago, I heard of this truth, and I had many struggles with self before I began to understand even a little of its meaning; yet I held steadfast to the thought: "I will not let Thee go, except Thou bless me," because I felt that Christian Science was the truth which I had so long desired.
Although I did not come to Christian Science for physical healing, yet I sought for and found deliverance from little ailments; but I needed the truth chiefly because I felt so unhappy and discordant. I find that the understanding of it brings us blessings in every direction; it teaches us the true perception of humility, honesty, purity, justice, and love; and it silences all passionate desires. Through the understanding of Truth, we are enabled to free ourselves and others from the errors which are manifested in some form of physical trouble, yet the proof of the allness of Truth and Love in overcoming moral errors is of far greater value. The false sense of self, which is expressed in uncharitableness, envy, resentment, dislike, suspicion, and temper have been destroyed for me and for others through divine Love, and this has brought inexpressible peace instead.
In financial affairs the power of infinite Mind has been revealed to me as the only source of supply. In fact, from every standpoint, in all our affairs, Christian Science is the universal remedy, it reveals inexhaustible treasures from which we may draw health, harmony, intelligence, and strength, if we strive for it with honest, willing hearts.
