Christian Science has done much for me

Christian Science has done much for me. Four years ago I was unable to do any work for long periods, and could not walk any distance without suffering. I had also such pain at intervals that I had to go to bed, and was very nervous and weak. I also had stomach and bowel trouble, and would contract a cold very easily, and had a sore throat several times nearly every winter. My mother thought allopathic medicine too strong for me, and I had a dread of doctors, therefore I tried all home remedies, patent medicines, and a homœopathic doctor, but did not get well. I was unhappy and discouraged. I wanted to be entirely well and happy, but thought I never would be.

"Man's extremity is God's opportunity," and a friend who had been healed by Christian Science gave me the address of a practitioner to whom I wrote, and I was given absent treatment for several weeks. I began to feel so happy and free from weakness that I stopped the treatments. I did not know I had anything to do for myself in order to keep well, so I let error creep in, and have had to seek help several times since I was first treated. I was, however, benefited each time, and I can now work, walk any distance, and go out in all kinds of weather. I am indeed better physically and morally, thanks to Christian Science.

Last fall I had the privilege of class instruction, and I find that so far as we live this truth in our every-day lives we are well and happy.
