I desire to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. For four years I was an invalid, and during this time I was operated on seven times; then I was taken by my doctor to a convention of physicians, where I was examined by the dean of the university of Iowa, and his verdict was that nothing further could be done for me, except to submit to another most terrible operation with no assurance of being any better. It was then that a friend told me of Christian Science of which I had never heard before. I went to a practitioner and was healed in one week. This was six years ago, and these six years have been the best six years of my life. I am very thankful to Mrs. Eddy for her great work, and to the practitioner who brought about my healing.
