Concord, N. H., December 5.—The new building erected at a cost of $1,185,000 for First Church of Christ, Scientist, in New York City, has been declined as a gift by Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy, founder of Christian Science and head of the faith. The tender was made by members of the church on November 30.
The following correspondence has passed between the church and Mrs. Eddy:—
