The gratitude in my heart for...

The gratitude in my heart for Christian Science knows no bounds. Since childhood I have known the blessings which come with life as learned in Christian Science—first in the Christian Science Sunday School, then as a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. Through the help of practitioners and my own study, Science has steadily unfolded an understanding of God which has brought healing and freedom from physical as well as moral disorders.

I was completely healed of what was X-rayed and diagnosed by two physicians as a fractured ankle. Inasmuch as I was going to college at the time and examinations were due, attending classes was extremely important to me. Loving aid was extended by a sincere student of Christian Science, and I was out of school on account of the difficulty less than a week. This was over ten years ago, and I have never had any ill effect from this experience.

I shall always be grateful for the guidance which led me to apply for service as an associate in the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium on the Pacific Coast. This employment met a need of my own as well as of others to a far greater degree than was realized even at the time. The joyous months spent there and the consecration of the workers remain an inspiration.
