I have been interested in Christian Science for about thirty-six years. During this time I have had several healings, for which I am very grateful to God.

Twenty-six years ago I was healed of an extreme nervous condition. I could not ride on a streetcar sets long before I would become so irritated that I would have to get off; also, when visiting a barbershop, I would lease the chair before the barber had finished his task. And I could not rest at night. I called a Christian Science practitioner, and help was given me. I kept Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy with me constantly, studying all the time that I could spare, especially the chapter on prayer and "the scientific statement of being" (p.468). Within four months I was perfectly normal, and I have had no return of this condition.

For a long time, as a child, I had suffered from abdominal pains. As I grew older, these became more severe. At night alter retiring I seemed unable to lie in bed, so would walk around the room in an effort to yet relief. This condition was also overcome in Christian Science.
