For
many centuries the Christian world in general thought of God only as Father.
The
expression, "Give him a clear field," is often used when one wishes to give someone he trusts and loves complete liberty to work as he wishes.
To
know what to do and the proper time to do it is an ability that can be gained through Christian Science.
Mary Baker Eddy,
the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, says on page 1 of "Miscellaneous Writings": "To kindle all minds with a gleam of gratitude, the new idea that comes welling up from infinite Truth needs to be understood.
Donald
was a well-behaved boy and had such a beaming, cheery smile that he always brought sunshine to everyone he met.
The
chains, the prison watch and gates gave wayBefore the angel that bade Peter riseAnd follow him.
"Truth
is affirmative, and confers harmony," writes Mary Baker Eddy on page 418 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

Christian Science came into my life at the time of a great need, and it proved a healing balm.
As a young child I developed an impediment in my speech, which got worse as I advanced in years.
Christian Science was presented to me by a very dear aunt when I was a small child.
When our son was ten years of age, conditions were such that I was obliged to face the future alone with sole responsibility for his care and education.
The gratitude in my heart for Christian Science knows no bounds.
I should like to share with others a healing I experienced through mental surgery some time ago which proved the omnipotence and omnipresence of God.
In appreciation of the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, and for the many proofs I have had of God's loving care, I give this testimony.
I have been interested in Christian Science for about thirty-six years.
My gratitude for the better understanding of God that Christian Science has brought me is boundless.
It is with a sincere desire to help others that I write this testimony.
